The Drywall Painting Process

When it comes to drywall painting, preparation is vital for a smooth service and clean appearance. It all starts with cleaning the dust, dirt and other particles from your interior surfaces. Our team will then assess for damage and fix any cracks, holes, dents, or water damage.

The painting phase is then kicked off with priming, which creates a uniform surface that adheres to the layer of paint, which is extra important for new drywall. Because drywall is slightly porous, applying paint directly to it without primer will cause uneven paint coverage and odd colour variation. The primer also binds extremely well with paint, which can’t be said for drywall material on its own.
