Sound Proofing – Also known as acoustic drywall, sound proofing is a special method of drywalling that minimizes the transmission of sound through the walls or ceilings. For this process, we use a combination of sound-reducing materials in between layers of gypsum rather than just a single later.
Fire Stop – Fire stop drywall, or fire-rated drywall, is a unique type of drywall made with additives like glass fibers designed to boost fire resistance and contain the spread of fires.
Texturing – Drywall texturing is when an additional layer is applied on top of your existing drywall to the walls and ceilings, with the goal of adding a little style and character to a home.
Smoothing – Drywall smoothing is as how it sounds – a process that creates a smooth, uniform finish while concealing imperfections. For this process we’ll use a thin layer of mud surface, which is recommended if you plan on painting or wallpapering.
